The mezuzah should be placed on the right-hand side (when entering the room) of the door or doorpost in the upper third of the doorpost of rooms in Jewish home in a position at a slight angle, with the top of the Mezuzah pointing toward the inside of the room with blessing. A special love for this commandment from the Torah (Deuteronomy 9:6, Deuteronomy 11:20) is demonstrated when at the entrance to the room religious Jews put their hand to mezuzah and kiss it thinking for a moment about the unity of Almighty and observance of His commandments.
