- The book gives the texts of of Jewish prayers that are read during the two days of the holiday Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur, which are celebrated on the 1st, 2nd and 10th of the month tishrei day according to the Jewish calendar. In the machzor there are the texts of prayers, the order of priestly blessing, the morning blessings, the blessings before and after the meal for Rosh Hashanah, the psalms that accompany the reading of prayers on these days, the order of tashlich, kapparot, etc.
